PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The girls will be taught the basic rules, skills, good sportsmanship, fair play, and coordination in this beginning league. The games will be played on Saturdays at the new Community Center on eight foot baskets. Only man to man defense allowed. No score or league standings kept. Teams will be formed by schools as much as possible. Requests for placement on specific team with a particular friend or coach will be considered but cannot be guaranteed. Volunteer Coaches needed! All Jr. Jazz participants will receive a Jr. Jazz reversible jersey, a player appearance clinic invitation, an 8 x 10 Jazz team picture. Optional - players will have the opportunity to purchase a specified Jazz game ticket at a discounted price

Team registration must have 9 players to be accepted into the league. No more or no less.
Team registration must provide a coach!!!
Team registration form must be completed and turned in to the Recreation Department before registration deadline by coach.
Team players have to agree to play on team by signing team registration form prior handing in form.
Members of the team will then be added to the team as they register online or in person by the deadline in order to be place on the team.
Recreation department will form teams with individual registrations by requests and schools as much as possible. All registered participants will be placed on a team.
No tryout/drafts in any league.
League Season: December 8 - February 23
