The PG Recreation Center partners with certified personal trainers to offer you another method to help you achieve your personal wellness goals. Here is a list of our approved trainers. Emily Peay:

My name is Emily Peay. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 yrs now. I am certified in Group Fitness,Tabata Bootcamp, Muscle, Cycling, Kick Kamp, Pound, Equalizers, and Kickboxing. I have such a great love for health and fitness that it has driven me to become a Personal Trainer. I love helping others gain a knowledge of the mechanics of how the body works, and the importance of a clean healthy diet. I look forward to providing you with motivation and the know how to reach, and even surpass, your fitness goals.

Shannon Bonnett: 

Certified Personal Trainer through NASM
My goal as a certified personal trainer is to share my love and knowledge of fitness, while helping my clients to reach their specific personal goals. My own fitness journey started with the birth of my first son 16 years ago while gaining over 100lbs. Through hard work and proper nutrition I was able to shed the weight. I had 3 more babies throughout the years gaining 80+ with each pregnancy. I know how it feels to be stuck, depressed, lost, and uncomfortable in my own skin, as well as the mental battle with food. I have lost a combined total of over 350lbs. I have been diligent in soaking up as much as I can learn about health and fitness. I sought out the best trainers and coaches and learned invaluable things from them. Through my own struggles, I developed a passion for health and fitness as well as a desire to help others break free from the mental, emotional, and physical despair that I know all too well. I earned my Certified Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and will be continuing my education with an emphasis on Women’s Fitness and Nutrition. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients reach their goals and doing things they thought weren’t possible. Hard work, determination, and a positive happy attitude can do amazing things!

Julie Newbry:

Julie is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and an additional certification through personal fitness systems. I developed a love for health and fitness six years ago when I started my own journey to feel better. I have successfully maintained and 80 pound weight loss and am passionate about helping others reach their specific health and fitness goals. I believe that working out, daily activities, and eating well should be a source of joy in a person's life NOT a source of frustration. Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, improve balance and flexibility, endurance, or just to feel good, let me help you find the joy that comes from setting and reaching your goals!

Pricing:

*Session by session $45 an hour or $25 1/2 hour 
*4 week pkg. $336 ($42 an hour) 2 sessions a week
*8 week pkg.  $640 ($40 an hour) 2 sessions a week
*Group Training 2-4 people $25 per person
